Under the supervision of the coordinator, the interpreter guide make’s aware to the visitors the need to protect wetlands and to discover the richness of this ecosystem. It guides visitors on hikes and canoe, kayak or rabaska trips through the reserve. The guide manages the materials and the equipment during the outings. The interpreter guide animates various activities with different customer base. The guide ensures the respect of the regulations, helps the maintenance of the site and the preparation of the material during the special events.

QUALITIES SOUGHT : ➢ Love to work with the public ➢ Able to work outside (under the sun or the rain) ➢ Dynamic person and able to take initiative ➢ Bilingual (ability to speak French and English) ➢ Being comfortable on the water ➢ Interest in the environment and teamwork ➢ Experienced naturalist (if possible)

WORKING CONDITIONS : ➢ Day work, Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. ➢ Salary: $ 13 per hour ➢ Duration of employment: 8 to 15 weeks.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS : ➢ This is a student job funded by Summer Jobs Canada. You must be 15 to 30 years old and be a full-time student in the fall of 2020. ➢ Must have a car, as there’s no transportation available.
